Acclimation
Allow your SPC flooring to adjust to room conditions for 2-24 hours before installation. Maintain a consistent room temperature between 60-85°F to avoid expansion or contraction of the planks.
Subfloor Preparation
Ensure your subfloor is clean, dry, and level within 3/16" over 10'. Remove all residue from prior installations for a stable foundation. For areas prone to moisture, using a moisture barrier such as 6 mil poly sheeting is recommended.
Installation Methods
Floating Installation
Ideal for most residential and light commercial spaces. Maintain a 1/4" expansion gap around vertical surfaces. For wet areas, use silicone caulk to seal gaps.Glue-Down Installation
Recommended for heavy commercial spaces. Apply adhesive evenly and roll flooring with a 100 lb. roller to ensure strong adhesion.Installation Requirements
Installation Requirements
Expansion Gaps
Ensure a 1/4" gap for areas under 2500 sq. ft. and a 1/2" gap for larger areas. This allows natural movement due to temperature changes.
Subfloor Compatibility
Clean, flat, dry, and sound subfloors are essential. Avoid installing on carpets or cushioned vinyl. Ensure moisture levels are within acceptable limits for SPC installation.

Step-by-step Installation Guide
Floating Installation
- Start on the left side of the room, ensuring a 1/4" gap from the wall.
- Lay planks, tapping lightly to lock them into place.
- Stagger end joints by at least 12" to create a natural appearance.
- Use a jigsaw or utility knife for clean cuts as needed.
Glue-Down Installation
- Spread adhesive evenly over the subfloor.
- Place planks, maintaining a 1/4" expansion gap.
- Use a 100 lb. roller to secure the flooring in place.
- Allow the adhesive to set according to the manufacturer’s recommendations before walking on the floor.

Can I install Infinity Flooring over radiant heat?
Yes, our SPC flooring is compatible with radiant heating systems, as long as the surface temperature does not exceed 85°F..
Do I need an underlayment?
If your SPC flooring has an attached underlayment, no additional cushioning is needed. For installations over concrete, a moisture barrier is require.
